Fire

  • Please read the Fire Evacuation Procedure for Capital Wharf which was released in January 2023.
  • All passage ways must be free of obstructions.
  • No flammable materials are allowed to be stored in flats in amounts that that would affect or increase the premium paid by the Management Agents for insurance.
  • Fire Alarms in communal areas are maintained by the management.
  • Fire precautions within flats are the responsibility of the leaseholder but it is recommended that your alarm is well maintained. This may well be a condition of your Insurance.
  • In the event of a fire it is imperative that all residents are aware of and follow the instructions located on the board next to the post boxes. Fire exits are clearly marked and the lift should not be used.

Electrical

  • The management is responsible for electrical safety within the communal areas.
  • Leaseholders are responsible for the electrical safety within their flat including the consumer unit and it is recommended that regular up to date certificates are obtained. This may well be a condition of your insurance. Please let the Concierges or the Management Agents know if you experience any electrical problems within your flat supply so this can be logged in case it is indicative of a wider problem.
